About Myself

I began my career in behavioral health nearly 22 years ago. Throughout this time, I’ve had the opportunity to work with several well-known agencies across California as well as with highly respected private practices. These experiences—across a variety of organizations, programs, and people—helped me recognize the growing need for reliable, compassionate counseling services.

My clinical experience spans a broad range of age groups and challenges. I have worked in school settings with students and families facing issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, eating disorders, abuse, defiance, and aggression. I have also worked extensively with adults, couples, families, and elderly clients coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, chronic pain, low self-esteem, domestic violence, and other life stressors.

My therapeutic philosophy centers on creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I value and honor the diversity of my clients and strive to be fully present and attentive to their unique needs. Over the years, many clients have expressed appreciation for my calm and grounded approach to therapy.

I utilize an integrative theoretical framework tailored to each individual’s needs, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), brief/solution-focused therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, and culturally sensitive practices.

Since 2012, I have operated a private practice in Camarillo, California, where I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan—children, adolescents, and adults alike.
